There is a vast range of topics in the story from the statement of an AI that looks after the residents of part of London, to the story from a temporal engineer called in to deal with an anomaly at a theme park. The stories certainly make the reader feel they are in London. There was enough detail to evoke a sense of London and where the action was taking place when I was reading the book, but it was not overdone. My favorites were a touching piece by Ida Keogh and a bizarre one by M.R. Carey, but almost every story here is good. There are a couple exceptions; one story in particular appears to have defied any attempt at proofreading - and slipped by the editor's high standards.
