This turned out to be better than I thought it would be.

But somehow I didn't think this was Yaoi... The boys love logo threw me off. When I read 'boys' I expected shounen ai.

Oh I just saw the mature logo. Dude how did I missed that?

I don't know if this is true but it feels like Yaoi that's made in recent years are less porney and deals more with a realistic view of people in a relationship in modern day Japan. When I started reading Yaoi it was very much targeted at women and let's be honest it was porn. Which I didn't mind at the time.

It's nice to see these kinds of mangas in this genre though. Smutty but with love as the main theme.

I do miss those random and oddly specific titles though. ( )

This is a romance about two friends pining for each other over the long haul. It features mutual pining, super angst energy, and a dash of internalized homophobia keeping the two from consummating their obvious love for one another. If you're into BL featuring those things, this is definitely the manga for you. The art is also a pleasant soft style. ( )

This was a really bittersweet and angsty gay manga that I enjoyed. It was a little more explicit than I personally expected and than I personally prefer. But I liked Kasumi and Kyousuke's relationship and how much pining and self-sacrifice they were willing to put up with from themselves. ( )
