When a yellow bird looses his feathers, the little white dog gets all tangles, and the orange fox looses his mother, things eventually turn around for the better. A discovery of love, patience, and a different point of view turns this bad day into a great day for these lovely animals. I think this a cute little book to read if you are having a bad day and want to see the best out of it. I think this teaches the importance that everyone has those bad days, but they do turn around and get better in the end. Wonderful book for children with unexpected topic about things going wrong but also how they could turn out for good. What a way to introduce children about how life could be troubled but them how we could, but letting it flow, find out all is part of the plan and the outcome, wahtever it is, it is always good. Can't think of a simpler way to convey this universal truth. Henkes is really a master! nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

A bad day or a good day is all in how you look at it.
A bad situation may not be what it seems.
Sometimes your struggles lead to success.
Sometimes you experience loss because life has something better in store for you.
My sincere hope is that as I read this to my daughter on a regular basis, she will internalize the idea that one should always have hope that something good is coming just ahead. ( )
