I love Lev so so much and his fierce protection over what is his is beautiful. This book takes us on a journey through mafia life, fighting to survive, and loving when things get rough. Katy’s was an awesome mother, fierce protector over her family, strong, and loving she has been through so much but fought her way out of adversity and loved with all she had. This duet is a fun, intense, and hot as hell I loved it so much and both these authors know how to write suspense and steam. I hope they wrote more together. ( )

Great conclusion to the duet. I felt more of a connection with the characters this time which I appreciated because I struggled at times in the first book.

There were still some areas of the story that I wish had been fleshed out more like what Lev was doing in the present since his life was totally different. I, also, expected more of a repercussion from his family for what he'd done to go against Vasilly..

Still, another solid story from this duo. ( )
