SPYxFAMILY is one of my favourite mangas of all time. Honestly, it's a delightfully fun manga with lots of action, comedy and suspense. I get so giddy and excited

The couple themselves are sugary sweet yet highly hilarious. They are a mismatch that obvious get along but seem to not admit they the perfect pair. Add in the amusing scenarios they get into for their missions and you've got one winning combination. It's fun, light hearted and an absolute joy. It's what I want out of my mangas.

The brother-in-law scenario was full of hijinks that had me snickering and full on addicted to this series. It's only getting better! It's rare for me to actually giggle along with a book (other than have a small smile at the funny parts), so it was such a gem to have that again! That's how good of a book this was to me. It's actually really funny. There was also some chaotic date night shenanigans that occurred (that our leads weren't necessarily aware of) that made this book go over the top and be even better.

So, yes - this is one of my favourite series and I will continue to grab all of the volumes that I can. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to everyone seeking some spy-filled comedy in their lives.

After an unexpected visit from Yor's brother Yuri brings to light a lack of naturalism to the "family" that Loid has put together, he realizes that he as to work harder to make them come off as a real family and puts together plans to bring them closer together, all the while helping Anya rise through the ranks at Eden Academy.

Volume 2 picks up right where volume 3 left off, as we get to see Yuri's first meeting with Loid to amusing effect. This is where volume 3 really shines, more so than previous books -- in showing and building the relationships between Loid, Yor, and Anya rather effectively. Several specific "missions" within the volume make this the primary focus, and those are the ones that I find the best. It does tend to ease off and focus more on Anya's school business, which is a bit more tedious and features less character development, but it's filled with enough Anya adorableness to make it well worth the time. I'm interested to see where the series goes; I can see it sort of getting monotonous if this is the story structure for a while, but I feel like things are going to ramp up sooner rather than later, and I'm pretty excited for what comes next. (Also, once again, the bonus mission included is a true highlight of the book; this bite-sized stories are pretty fun.)

Content Concerns: As usual, there's a good bit of violence and some bloodshed, but it's mostly done in a whimsical fashion and it's all in black and white. There's also some drinking that leads to characters getting drunk (mostly for humor). The language is also a bit more ramped up than before, with 17 total uses of profanity (9 "d-mn," 6 "h-ll," and 2 "b-st-rd").
