The three stories are linked by a fortuneteller, a sense of fated love and that if you try to resist fate that the consequences are bad luck, and a shopping center. I actually liked them in order, the first two much more than the last one.

Blame it on Karma is Jacquie D'Alessandro's contribution. The owner of a cookie store finds herself looking again at the manager of the complex she has her store in. He also has to rethink what he thinks about her! Some of the scenes were quite amusing.

Together Again by Jill Shalvis is about a woman falling again for a man she once loved but who left her to pursue his career. He's now a FBI agent and her life is in danger.

Tall, Dark and Temporary by Crystal Green is the story of Erin Holland, looking for a cruise with sex with Wes Ryan, a playboy and how before they can get down to business they have to work out what they actually want from the relationship. While it did have some funny incidents, it almost felt like the background story was built around some fun incidents and was a little paper thin.

The stories were fun, nothing earth-shattering, a fair bit of explicit sex in these but that's to be expected from the range. ( )

3 stories all revolving around Valentine Day visits to a fortune teller. My favorite of the stories, and the most believable of the three, was "Blame It on Karma" by Jacquie D'Alessandro. ( )
