The Devil's Road continues on from Devil Dog with the group now leaving Chicago for the journey across the country to Jamie & Mel's husband's farm. As with a novel typical of this genre along the way the face several adverse circumstances not all of which are as they initially appear.

I found it to be better than the first book in the trilogy, and it was certainly entertaining following their journey. Definitely worth a look even if you were disappointed in the first book. (
