Then here comes this gorgeous obnoxious rude gentleman who bumps into her while she is rushing to a meeting with her boss and new company when she drops all her notes and the guy takes her cab, since he is on his way to that meeting even though they dont know it yet, and he was rushing to go to his friends with bennies. Come morning Tate is shocked that here is this gorgeous jerk, and he is as shocked but turned on, however they both know that they can not let anything interfere with this merger, but that last maybe half a day, even though Decker does try a little more..After they give in, guess who shows up? disaster, but what is more important ..grab a copy and Enjoy! "You're not getting off easy this time, Collins. Tell me right now. What. Do. You. Want. From. Me?" "Fine. you know what I want?" "No, but I'm kind of digging you being all hot and pissed off. It makes me want to find out." Hoo-wee this was HOT!! I loved the interactions between these two characters. The snark, the push and pull, and, oh yeah, the steam!! Decker Collins needs this merger to go through. Failure is not an option. As if dealing with opposition from his own brothers isn't challenging enough, now he has to deal with HER. She's been sent to oversee the merger, and she's infuriatingly sexy. Decker hasn't let a woman be any more than a no-strings distraction in more than a decade, but she might just make him want those strings. But will she cut him free when she learns the real reason he needs this merger. Tate Reynolds is being tested. First by her boss, Weston, who has put her in charge of overseeing this merger. If she does well, she could make partner. Secondly, both her patience and her libido are being tested by the most arrogant, egotistical, rude, and delicious man - Decker Collins. She's may be a shark in the court room, but she wants nothing more than to be dominated by Decker in the bedroom. She should keep it all business, but she can't deny the chemistry between them. Crossing that line would be a bad idea. What would be worse- losing her job, or losing her heart? I loved this story!! Decker is the ultimate book boyfriend and totally swoony (yes, that's a word now), and Tate is such a strong character and the perfect match for Decker! I'm so happy to know that there will be more books in this series, because Decker's three brothers need their stories too!! Definitely grab this one!! nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

He's a bastard in Burberry. Decker Collins knows how to do one thing--win. When his billion-dollar law practice moves to merge with a firm out of Dallas, she shows up to oversee the transition. Tate Reynolds--the vixen in Versace. She's whip-smart, sassy, and gorgeous. Oh, and she doesn't take any of Decker's sh*t. With the merger hanging in the balance, they go to war with each other. There's only one problem. This war isn't just about business. Because when they're not butting heads... They're banging headboards. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

I went into this story really liking the blurb and the premise of the story. There were several moments that I liked but there were others that just had me shaking my head. I didn't understand how someone that is so smart would make "payments" toward something, nor did I understand the way the end of a dream happened. Surely, there could have been a better option in the long run, or family or someone to help navigate until things got smoother.
As much as I wanted to I just couldn't connect with the story, and trust me, I wanted to connect.
