Everybody's favorite forgetful feline, whose adventures began in 1970 with Judith Kerr's classic picture-book, Mog the Forgetful Cat, and continued in a variety of other picture-books, early-readers and board books over the years, stars in this set of four miniature board books. Although I don't generally read very many board books - there being no young infants in my life - I am a fervent fan of the plump Mog, whose well-meaning but disastrous misadventures always make for entertaining reading. I was therefore quite excited when this little boxed set came into work, and snatched it right up. My First Mog Books is a sweet little collection of miniature volumes, perfect for very young hands, and featuring one of children's literature's most adorable felines. What's not to love? ( )
