Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott is a graphic novel that tells the story of Rosa Parks and her reason for not giving up her seat on the bus, as the law required. This story clarifies that Rosa was not the first women who refused to give up her seat and arrested, however, she was a good candidate to represent the fight to end segregation. The illustrations were good and helped to easily follow the text. On each page there was a caption to explain what is taking place between the characters in the story,. The book also a good Table of Contents, Glossary, Extra Information Page, Bibliography, Read More Page, and Internet Site Section. As an informational text I found this book acure and easy to understand. As a piece of literature for you children I feel they will enjoy reading the text in the graphic form with illustrations very well done. ( ) nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
