Inertia Meh, Dying Matt uses the technology of his time to reach out to his troubled ex Claire.The Spinners a story of revenge and family. Hearken Hearkens can hear either death songs or life songs. Darys deals with her complex relationship with her alcoholic mother. Vim and Vigor Prom - the big decision. Armored Ones & The Transformationist are part of the Carve the Mark universe so I felt like I needed to have read the other Carve the Mark to really appreciate these stories. (

I’ve never read Veronica Roth‘s books before. The short stories were a good introduction to her world. I would assume that the last two stories were part of her novel world. Each story was different, a story about self discovery, free will. stories about choice, and deciding which choice is the best for you (
