A rugged lumberjack and a femme make-up vlogger. I mean, come on, give it to me. There was plenty of rope play, but also an an instant connection between the MCs that I found believable no matter how quickly they fell. The rope play was sensual and well-written, I could almost see the patterns and designs. I'd have liked the tale a bit longer, so I could follow this couple into a solid relationship rather than just an epilogue that implied that's where they ended up, but as a free short it was more than I could hope for. Hopefully this won't be the last we see of Rainbow Cove. Hot damn! :P That was panty-melting. Bondage is often portrayed as a power move. They use it to control, to restrain. Here it was so artistic. And it was so sensual. And it was all about trust. "Bondage scenes were supposed to be a shared experience, but they didn’t always work out that way. A lot of times I felt more like the conductor of someone else’s symphony—which could be an awesome feeling, giving others the sort of experience with ropes they desired most—but it wasn’t the same as sharing something, discovering things together as equal participants, feeding off each other’s energy. That was much rarer, and with Cam, everything felt new again. Watching him, experiencing with him, was utterly breathtaking. And exhilarating." "I’d always assumed bondage would make me feel helpless. Instead, I felt powerful. Able to move mountains. Able to hold this big, strong man in the palm of my bound hand." So while I really enjoyed this part. There wasn't much else to the story. It was lust, not love. At least I don't think they get to know each other well enough to fall in love, cuz other then these scenes, they didn't do much else. I still recommend it though. I do hope if and when this gets published at all retailers, it will be expanded a little. ------------- Well, that was unexpected. Phew! 🔥🔥🔥🤤 Coming with a short review tomorrow. I think all the smexiness might have clouded my judgment. One thing's for sure... This is definitely a nighttime read. 🔥🔥🔥 Hehe..
