Second in a series. This one has the vampire Victor creating a thrall out of illustrator Paul. Paul is in Rome illuminating a had done verison of the Bible. Slowly but surely the pair fall in love. ( )

While a lover of vampire gay erotica since "Interview," I really didn't enjoy this series at all. It's just a bit too violent and too over-the-top for me. Not a religious person here, but Schiefelbein's constant pounding upon Christianity was a bit much even for me. ( )

The second book of a trilogy. Brilliantly Written. As in the first novel there is no lack of charecter depth. And if you like stuff a little on the erotic side (not too eritoc) you'll love this. Can't wait to read the last book. ( )

But, when the time comes, will Victor destroy him or keep him? Very good and original series in which vampires are evil. ( )
