I liked this book. I think that kids will too. It makes body systems and parts more accessible to kids, and supplies information in a fun, entertaining way. It is very visual, which will appeal to a younger reader. For example, it compares a bone in the ear to a grain of rice, and depicts the brain as a computer. The text is not over whelming. The only negative comment I have is that a parent may object to the drawing depicting the anus. The artist's rendering resembles a penis. Some parents are funny about those things. Also it has a child sitting on a toilet in one part of the book. Otherwise, I felt it was a unique and interesting way to introduce students to the parts of the body. I would use it in a science lesson. It would appeal to students in grades 3 -5. ( )
