Legit one of the best books I have read to date. Maddox and Amethyst are life. This book is not just one thing, it's many things, and there is so much going on in the book, there is never ever a dull moment. This book has so many twist and turns, half the time I didn't know which way I was going, and I think that was the intent. This is a "lighter" read of Amo Jones, she is know for some pretty dark and disturbing books. While it's "lighter" there is still darkness to this book.
Don't be fooled and think you are off the hook. This book has, lust, envy, love, hate, humor, action, and surprises. This is the sweeping journey of one broken soul meeting the one that can put that soul back together. This was beautifully written and if I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. I think so many people will be surprised by this book, in a good way. This story is told in dual pov. ( )

Absolutely LOVED this read! I felt it was a pure blend of real life, angst and the fast-paced action that tends to follow when you promise yourself that you will absolutely never do something. Of course, BOOM, it happens or the trail leading to it takes place and everything goes mental. That is exactly this book. Two people, their surrounding friends, life and everything in between swirl into madness after a one night stand that changes everything.

I loved the main characters and found that they were given plenty of detail, really making it easy to connect with them, on both a personal and story level. It meant that I was definitely unable to put the book down, which I am not even remotely upset about!

The pace matched the madness of the story well. You bounced about, wondering if their lives would ever be the same. You were filled with joy, then sadness, then just wondering if they’d ever catch a break after one slip-up, but isn’t that just how life is??

Overall, this was excellent. A true Amo read and definitely one I recommend, especially if you want to have an exciting, real and truly fun read. ( )
