This is great book to dissect a flower. If you're trying to teach a class about flowers this is your go to book. It explains everything great.. ( )

I really enjoyed reading this book because there was a lot of information packed into it. That being said there was also a lot going on in the book (sensory wise) and I did not particularly enjoy that, I think it might be overwhelming for some people to look at. I enjoyed it by focusing on the words first and no pictures or diagrams but then going back and appreciating the artwork because trying to do both became a lot. I really loved the information that was given in the book and I think there is a lot of support for students who are transitioning from reading narrative type texts to reading more informational texts. ( )
