Check out this uncommon justice series because it is good! This first one is about a forensic genealogist (because who even knew that could be a thing?) who gets involved in a missing person case that turns deadly. There's just the right amount of action and romance to keep you flipping the pages. The second one was also fantastic, now that I've reminded myself that I've already read it 😂 about a forensic photographer! Definitely pair with slippers and a chocolate chai tea latte.
What can I say, I like the way Elizabeth writes her stories and builds her characters. ( )

This is the first novel I have read by Elizabeth Goddard and it definitely won't be the last. Never let Go is the first in the Uncommon Justice series.

One of the most interesting parts of the story to me was the fact that Willow, the main character, was a forensic genealogist. I was not aware of such a career so I found that quite fascinating. After her grandfather dies, Willow takes on one of his cases which involved finding the missing child of a woman who was dying. Her dream was to meet the daughter who had gone missing from the hospital right after she was born twenty-one years ago. This case definitely had it's challenges and through a series of page-turning events, it became quite obvious someone did not want Willow to track down this missing person and was willing to do whatever it took to keep Willow from finding the answers she was looking for. In addition to the edge of your seat suspense, the story came with romance as well. Austin, Willow's ex boyfriend, is the person who ends up helping her search for the missing girl. Can they move past the past to have a future together and will they find the missing girl in time? You'll have to read to find out.

I won this book from the LibraryThing Early Reviewers program. I love getting books from programs like that because I get introduced to many new authors I might not otherwise try. Elizabeth Goddard is one of those authors. Never Let Go is a romantic-suspense novel that grabs you on the first pages and keeps building throughout the entire book. The characters are well developed, the setting is awesomely gorgeous, and the plot is well done. I hope to read more by this talented author. ( )

If you're looking for a romantic suspense novel to keep you guessing until the very end, you'll love Never Let Go by Elizabeth Goddard!

This extremely well-crafted story delivers a fantastic mix of mystery, intrigue, romance and suspense. Never Let Go starts out with an intense prologue and eventful opening chapters, then slows down just enough to allow readers to relax, witness the character development and contemplate the clues to this cold case.

Remember how I said it slows down just enough? Don't get too cozy, because the pace picks back up quickly and will have you on the edge of your seat! The quick, cliffhanging chapters and engaging plot make for an unputdownable, page-turning read!

I absolutely recommend this book!
