This is a realistic, psychologically astute retelling of the Uther, Arthur, and Camelot legends. Nimue, Morgan, Luned, and Medraud each tell their parts in enthralling first-person narrative. The Author's Note sets the stage perfectly for younger readers or those first coming to the history and the legends. The guide to the pronunciation of the Welsh is the best I've seen in a volume of fiction. This book is by no means only for junior readers. ( ) I really enjoyed this. It is well written and engaging. As a fan of Arthurian legends, I knew something about many of the people who feature in this book, but they only usually appear as passing mentions. To me, it is often the back story that is most interesting, as it is there that things happen that set great events in train. Highly recommended. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
