Soffermandosi più sul passato e sul presente, non sul futuro del titolo e del sottotitolo, analizza da vari punti vista la peggiore piaga mai apparsa sulla terra: la civiltà umana. Piaga, benchè possibilmente mortale, di cui occuparsi se non si ha nulla di meglio da fare. ( )
