About a dog and cat that live under the same roof. They can't seem to get along. They fight about anything and everything and it is driving their owner, Lucy crazy. After a really bad night Chester the cat leaves and doesn't come back. Lucy and Buddy the dog can't find Chester anywhere. Then one night Buddy realized he missed Chester and went out looking for him at night. He ran into the alley cats and at first the cats didn't like that Buddy was there, but then he said he was friends with Chester. Then the alley cats were more than happy to help Buddy find Chester. They found Chester and he was still upset about their last fight, then Buddy said that he missed him and they went home. Lucy was so happy to see they were both home safe. Great story on friendship, forgiveness, and family. preK-2 (
