Guy Kawasaki is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, best known for his work at Apple to make the Macintosh the iconic brand it is, guaranteeing it a place in technology history. He's since formed his own venture capital firm and writes books about business. While written for people who are looking for investors and expecting to build a company with employees, I got a lot out of this book. Kawasaki states unequivocally that if someone is getting into business to solely to make money, gain power or prestige; they are getting into business for the wrong reason. The list of four possible reasons to get into business all square with what I'm now doing. "Make the world a better place, Increase the quality of life, Right a terrible wrong, Prevent the end of something good." (p5) There's a lot of good in this book and I recommend it for anyone curious about how to start a business. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Watching scared cows being slaughtered is always a great pleasure, and with one gormless platitude or another garrotted every sentence or two, this book is a joy to read. And it's short too.
Read it twice. ( )
