MagicalRi | Apr 15, 2019 |   2.5 stars After reading this book, I'm still waiting for the story to begin... for the explanations, the chemistry.. anything really. The story doesn't really make sense and it's kind of ridiculous. One minute she's all ' I'm never ever ever going to whore myself out!' and the next minute she's all 'oh well, I have no choice, I guess I'm his now.' It might just be me though, I've grown a bit tired of the alpha abusive asshole characters we're supposed to fall in love with. I enjoyed reading this, but it wasn't a great novel that made me glad I read it nor was it a terrible one. It was an entertaining read. One of the big disappointments was I didn't feel the chemistry or understand the attraction between the main characters. This series has been on my kindle for months. I'm not sure why I waited to read it because it was OUTSTANDING. This book is full of mind games and suspense galore. My mind keeps telling me Mount is bad but my heart is saying there has to be something redeemable. Oh how I love an anti-hero. On to the next book. I guess we will see. (
