Jace may not know where he's going, but he knows he has to escape. He's still looking for a destination when he meets Samson, a carnival strong man, at the state fair. The way Samson wields the hammer makes Jace weak in the knees, yet he's scared stiff--all over--when he's singled out of the crowd.
