Renowned chef David Thompson first went to Thailand by mistake- a holiday plan had to be changed at the last minute and he ended up in Bangkok, where he was seduced by the people, their culture and cuisine. Since that fateful trip some 20 years ago, Thailand has become his second home. This is the only cookbook I've ever bought that's plain scared me....find out why here:

An amazon goodreads is no place for Thai food. It has too much taste.

Could do with a lot more pics, but some great recipes....and easy to make too. I have spent hours reading this book! ( )

Staggers, and perhaps initimidates, the reader in its complexity and comprehensiveness. The definitive work on the subject in English. ( )
