The Poirot mystery was spoiled a bit for me by the use of Mr. Satterthwaite. I kept expecting Mr. Quin to put in an appearance, but of course he didn't. It was all down to the little grey cells. I'd read the miscellaneous stories before but still found the tangled melded family confusing in the last story. And Mr. Satterthwaite is very well preserved. Rumor had it that red-haired beauty Laura Dwighton and her guest, the very attractive Mr. Paul Delangua, were engaged in an illicit affair, and Paul was thrown out by the disgruntled Sir James.
