No. And his lame ass attempt to explain WHY he never told her? Hell no. I think if the book had been shorter and the lie hadn't drug on for so long I would have found it an enjoyable read. But for over a year he convinced her he was gay? WT actual F? I oddly had the complete opposite reaction to the narrators. In the beginning I didn't really care for either of them. I though both had voices that were a bit higher pitched than I imagined. However, the longer I listened, the more enjoyable they became. It was like a weird independent relationship to the plot: the less I liked the plot, the more I liked the narrators. Weird right? What can you do? ( ) thebookdisciple | Oct 9, 2018 | I swear I like each book of RC's better than the last. Her books just get better and better. Ry and Maggie's story is now my favorite of RC's. I couldn't put this book down. The slow build with these characters added to the awesome factor. Their unwillingness to admit their feelings and be completely honest with one another made this story more entertaining. If you are looking for a funny and sexy read, this is definitely a book for you. RC writes a great friends to lovers book!
