These books are amazing reads. They follow the story of several great friends of Winnie, Tigger and Piglet. These friends go through everything together and they always come out on top no matter what happens to them.
These books are perfect for kids as they allow them to learn what friendship should look like and what being a good friend should be like.

I see all the stories in the classic cartoons in my childhood. But I still enjoyed the story. ( )

4 stars - Christopher Robin, Pooh, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, Too, and my favorite, Eeyore. I just finished reading this book to my 9 year old daughter. She loved the stories as much as i do. Pooh, the not very bright bear who is able to write fun poems and songs, is the main character. The book tells the adventures of Pooh and his friends in a delightfully fun way. You come to know and to love the personality of each of the different characters, and you come to love them all. One of the best children's books of all time. I gave it 4 stars only because the book is almost 100 years old and written in England, so the vocabulary and writing style is just a tad challenging for younger children. Nevertheless, they will still enjoy the adventures and the interactions among each of the characters. ( )

I may be the only person on the planet not automatically delighted with Pooh. Or rather, I know I'm not the only one, because of my daughter.

She complained about being bored no less than a dozen times and fell asleep sitting up 5 times.

Sigh.

Ah, well, not every book is a winner for every person. Alas.

For me, I personally liked [b:The Tao of Pooh|48757|The Tao of Pooh|Benjamin Hoff|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348137748s/48757.jpg|55188] much, much better. :) I guess I get kinda annoyed with Bears of Little Brain. :) ( )

The things that most stick with me are the loving relationships between Piglet and Pooh, and Pooh and Christopher Robin. The support and joy they all take in each other's company shines through the pages. That last chapter about the end of boyhood is poignant and beautiful. ( )
