Small poems again is a series of poetry that is filled with personification. Valerie Worth writes about things such as jacks, telephone poles, asparagus, broom’s and more! Valerie Worth uses a lyrical voice, as she expresses her feelings and emotions about each object she writes about. Although this was not my favorite poetry book, this book would be a great choice to show students if the lesson involved in personification. ( ) These poems are not only "small" as far as the amount of words in each poem, but also the main topic of each poem is describing something small. Some of the topics include a seashell, coat hangers, a beetle, and a skunk. On average, each line of these poems has about 2-3 words with 3-4 stanzas. The author does not use any rhyming. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
