Newton, Kansas, was established by the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad as a new railhead for the Chisholm Cattle Trail in 1871. Images of America: Newton shows those people and the places where they worked, worshipped, and played and includes many photographs from residents' family albums in addition to images from public archives. Meet the residents of this "Crossroads of Kansas" city, from the locally famous to the folks next door, in the pages of Newton.… (altro)
