I found fairly quickly why that was - it is the paranormal aspects of the plots. Having recognized that fact, I decided to approach it not as a mystery but just as fiction and was able to enjoy it more that way. I really enjoy the 1970s Laos setting & the characters. Clive Chafer did an excellent job narrating. I loved the first book in the series because of local and wonderful, unique characters. This book was too dependent on magical realism to discover the mysterious death of a local by a bear. I still loved the local and fun characters but the mystery was flat for me. Too much magical realism which is not my thing. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Zumal kein anmutender Reisejournalismus uns erwartet.
