All stories are by Charles Perrault except Beauty and the Beast and Sweetheart by Madame Leprince de Beaumont.

They are translated by Angela Carter, an interesting author of weird books. Her translations here seem pretty straightforward to me. I remember reading much more interesting retellings of Bluebeard and other tales in another of her books. It is unclear to me who wrote the "About the Stories" at the end of the book. ( )
