I didn't know Jasinda's personal story before this book and hadn't read her Big Girl's series. I liked the title, cover and reviews looked good. I found Jasinda's story a little heartbreaking at times and funny at others. I too grew up in the whole "fat free" craze so I know how that can pack on the pounds with all of the fake high sugar foods. I think many people reading it will be able to relate to at least parts of her story. I found the book on the short side, but I guess that can be good since it won't make you linger and put off starting your healthy journey. Her advice is doable and sound. Her writing keeps you wanting to read more. My only complaint is her including Fat Free Reddi Whip in her ingredients. The ideals is a whole food based eating and fake whip cream is full of chemicals. Other than that I think she knocked it out of the park motivating me to start living a healthier active lifestyle. ( )
