very insightful and entertaining, even if mos of the book was about pop music in the 60s. I loved reading about the creation of shows. unfortunately, the part I was interested in started in the last 50 pages of the book. There needs to be a Volume 2. I think he is writing one, or something. (

Hearing the album and then seeing the original Jesus Christ Superstar as a teenager had such a profound effect on me (I still know the entire musical off by heart), I romped through this entertaining memoir which is full of wit and gentle self-deprecation - and I seriously hope for volume 2. (
