The last of the short stories in the Seventeen series, it focuses on how the two main characters in the fourth novel, Ashstorm meet. And it is rather embarrassing as they happen to be robbing the same bank and the same time. It shall be clear, this is how partnerships start.

It adds some new information, but it is not essential for the main series. I, myself, however always really want to complete series, so I'm glad I've read these as well. ( )

This little short story is a companion to [b:Ashstorm|25538044|Ashstorm (Seventeen, #4)|A.D. Starrling|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1431623006s/25538044.jpg|45328605] and provides us the back story for the relationship of Ethan Storme and and Howard Titus. We know the general situation of how they met from Ashstorm, but not the specifics. I'm not a big fan of short stories, but I will read them as a companion to a series just so I don't miss anything. If you like extra tidbits for your series and characters, you will enjoy reading these. I picked this one up while I was waiting at the vet w/ my dog - it was the perfect length to make the time go faster.
