I was hooked. The book had already become like a drug for me. I did nothing but think about this book every time I had to put it down when life interrupted my reading time. Let me tell you, this book isn't for those who like light reads. NOT AT ALL. It's all the things I love. Messed up. Dark. Gritty. Raw. And the plot twists? Although I saw one coming, that ending... I had a feeling something like it was coming. There are some signs, but it took me a while to catch on. This is one of those stories I can't really talk much about them. This entire book needs to be a mystery to you until you read it. Anything I say can be considered as a spoiler. I love that about this book! Nina is a woman who is unaware of the beauty she is and flows though life without a care in the world, until one life changing night. She moves on and finds herself a recluse, and meets an handsome neighbour that brings her out of the world she is living in, little does she know the events surrounding him. This is definitely a mindf**k read, you think you know what is going on, and what is going to happen, but you are proved wrong. This book draws you in and never lets you go. These two writers have produced a book that is dark, emotional, hot, and fantastically good. If you like the work of both these authors and love dark reads, then you really should get your hands on this. You really will not be disappointed. This book screwed with my mind. Hardcore. Dark. Twisted. Depraved. It is not very often that I am left speechless but this is a book that pushed the envelope. My mind will be reeling for awhile. Definite trigger warnings. (
