It??s amazing what people throw away?Crispin Tredarloe never meant to become a warlock. Freed from his treacherous master, he??s learning how to use his magical powers the right way. Maybe a tiny bit rounded up, there were a couple aspects that didn't seem quite as strong as usual for this author, but they were fairly small, so they didn't rob me of much joy. ( )

I loved this story. I've enjoyed this magic world KJ Charles began with The Magpie Lord, and this tale of Crispin and Ned fits in perfectly, overlapping the second in that series and Jackdaw, both of which I read before finishing Rag and Bone. I'm glad I did.

In Rag and Bone we get a little creepy with our fun, some nasty magic and hair-raising challenges. It's beautifully written. I await the next one. I want to see what else they can do. :) ( )

So I began reading this at midnight-isch, fell asleep and then wake up to began reading this at six o'clock. Normally I would fall asleep again because my body is like: 'Are you crazy!?'.

Now it's like... 'Oh you are so happy! Let's give you energy!'.

So yeah. This story is magical. And truly it ticked all my yes-its-awesome-here-are-reasons-why boxes.

The only way it would make this super-duper awesome are if it would have dragons. But that's just because I like to have all my boxes checked. ( )

*Sigh* I think Crispin and Ned have to be one of my favourite couples. Neither is perfect and you can see how they would be wrong for each other but because they're willing to try it works. They balance each other out.

I'm really glad I could read this as a physical copy.

FINALLY I GOT THE PHYSICAL COPY!
Shame that this one is a big taller than the rest but I just realized that the other ones are published by KJC Books and this one is by Samhain publishing.

Next time I will try to get it from KJC Books. ( )

This is not a review, this is just my thoughts about the what'sgoingons:

The horror! =:o ...... I mean, the horror is not my thing :/

Poor Crispin seems to be trapped in the same pattern of a relationship with his tutors. Another kind and understanding master? The message is loud and clear and too predictable.
