Pie in the sky sky is a good book to read. This book is very colorful and a very detailed picture book. I was curious to know how can a piece in the sky. I later found out it was what was growing on the tree. I also love how they have the instructions on making the pie. The front cover is nice also; its shape like a pie. The author did a good job. ( )

This book goes through the seasons and the two birds watch as the seasons change until they are able to make their cherry pie. Good for when talking about nature and the different seasons.
