This book is good to help the students to learn that you may not always be the same or have the same interest as your friends, but you can agree to compromise and still be friends. This is a spin off of the town mouse, country mouse. The country mouse is the one reading the story. ( )

In this book to two dogs go to visit each other at their houses and neither of them like the other dogs house and the location they are in. So they decide to go the the beach to hang out next time. This is a good book to use when teaching young readers and writers about problem conflict resolution. ( )

Two dogs named Henri T. LaPooch(country) and Vincent van Dog(city) became best friends. Everything about them was the opposite except they both liked to paint. On the last day of school though Henri had to go back to the country and Vincent had to go to the city. They told each other they would write one another. Henri went to the city to visit Vincent and Vincent went to the country to visit Henri but neither one liked it either place so after that they both decided they would go meet at the beach and they both loved it.
I would recommend this book for ages 4-8. I think they would enjoy it and enjoy the pictures.
