I enjoyed the lesson about friendship in this book and the little nods to humour (adult and child-friendly humour). The illustrations were bold and beautiful and had a decent amount of detail. This felt like a really cohesive story and I was pleasantly surprised with the overall result.
My edition includes stickers for the small child in your life and stickers are such a useful currency with kids.
... but seriously, this is some kinda cat, wow. He can build robots, play in a band -- is there anything he can't do? (
