A collection of poems about emotions, relationships with other children, family, home, etc.
I like that it reads like a child is writing this, or it adheres to the mind of a child. I'd like to use this as reading aloud one poem during the day or end of the day

Judith Viorst is still perfectly tapped into the mindset of children.

I think that this book would be a great introduction to topics in psychology for its intended theme of emotions. The poems are relatable and fun and could stimulate self reflection for students.

This collection of poems covers a wide range of emotions and experiences children go through, and gives them an expression.

Poems for a little bit older of a group, say grade school aged. They are a little longer but still filled with fun and fancies that children can appreciate and enjoy. There are themed sections that children can relate to. I really like the illustration and color scheme. ( )
