De tekst in de boeken is redelijk beperkt en de pagina’s staan bol van de illustraties. Leuk voor kinderen zodat ze in het boek blijven en niet afgeleid raken. Zelf vind ik het wel een beetje too much qua plaatjes en het leest dan voor mij niet zo lekker. Het verhaal zit wel op een grappige manier in elkaar. Zelf vind ik boomhutten bouwen ook wel leuk en daarom heeft het er toch voor gezorgd dat ik dit boek ook daadwerkelijk heb gelezen. Het is science fiction want het had in onze toekomst zo kunnen zijn dat dit kon zo'n grote boomhut bouwen. ( )

Een echt boek voor kinderen! Boordevol leuke illustraties, grappige situaties en héél veel fantasie. Het leest wel ontzettend snel weg, misschien wel iets te snel, omdat het grootste deel van de pagina's gevuld is met plaatjes. Als voorleesboek is het niet echt geschikt, maar ik denk dat kinderen zich ontzettend kunnen vermaken met boeken als deze. ( )

Andy and Terry have added another 13 stories to their tree house making it a total of 65 stories. They have added a pet grooming salon, a birthday room, an unbirthday room and a cloning machine just to name a few. Some of their rooms are fun but some cause them to get in some sticky situations. For instance, the time the ants revolted because Andy and Terry kept upsetting the ant farm. They find themselves in the worst possible mess when the tree house inspector shows up and they don’t have a permit. Will he really have the tree house torn down?
This title continues in the same fun combination of text and illustrations to tell a fast paced, fun and fantastical stories within a story taken right from the childlike imaginations of the author and illustrator. This combination of text and line drawings makes it a great read for the boy reluctant reader who hates to read. There is humor, action, time travel and other elements woven into a simple plot. The tree house is as much a character as the characters themselves. A great read alike for Captain Underpants, Geronimo Stilton and Magic Tree House fans. ( )
