These Junie B stories were my favorite so far. As a former 1st grade teacher, I related very well to Mr. Scary. I had to laugh sometimes thinking been there, dude". Barbara Park dealt with many issues faced by 1st graders in these stories. I particularly liked Cheater Pants. The difference between cheating and helping is a hard concept for young children. I loved the way Park handled it. The other stories were hilarious and true to heart as well."
