Diese Geschichte ist leider zu kurz. Das ist aber auch schon das einzige, was ich zu bemängeln habe... Gefühlt besteht das halbe Ebook aus Vorgeschichte und Glossar. Dank der Vorgeschichte war ich allerdings direkt wieder mittendrin in der Welt von Lockwood & Co. Und diese Welt ist gespenstisch gefährlich. Tolle Kurzgeschichte mit einem tollen Team! ( )

A short story separate from books in the regular series, this one has the group exploring a haunting at a school. It also includes a guide of different ghosts in the stories, as well as a preview of the new book which just came out. Suffering from Lockwood & Co. withdrawal, this short story (only available on Kindle) bridges the gap until the next book appears in the autumn. While Jonathan Stroud employs his usual blend of tension, terror, atmosphere and humour, I found that the limitations imposed by small number of pages were noticeable towards the end, where the conclusion felt slightly rushed; still, a good, though not brilliant, Lockwood is better than no Lockwood!
