very interesting, lots of entertainig weather trivia/folklore, particularly enjoyed the bits about the old farmer's almanac . Unusual illustrations, fearful people will dismiss it as a children's book, which it most certainly is not. ( )

I adored the art...just the formatting was worth the money. The actual weather information was a bit touch and go...I was either enthralled or bored with little in between. ( )

Allerdings ist das Buch textlastig. Ich hätte mir aufgrund des Formats und der Aufmachung mehr informierende Skizzen und Grafiken gewünscht. Letztendlich ist das Buch vom Text her anspruchsvoll und bildungssprachlich. Es ist wie gesagt sehr schön, nur nicht leicht lesbar für Kinder, die nicht sowieso gern längere Texte lesen. ( )
