Still highly enjoyable. This trade tackles depression in what I thought was a very caring way. The beginning of the trade also has a number of short comics about what Matt's future might look like. I enjoyed some of those better than others, but I thought they were all interesting as a what-if type of scenario. (

Daredevil by Mark Waid continues to be a fun series filled with super heroics and easy-to-root-for characters. This collection tackles some real human issues, including various kinds of depression.

I'm taking a star off for the Original Sin tie-in and the Daredevil 1.5 issue. It's not that you need to read Original Sin to understand the tie-in, but it just felt like an unnecessary break from the larger story. Ditto for Daredevil 1.5, which includes a handful of stories that might appeal to long-time Daredevil fans but overall come across as filler.

The upshot of the tie-in and the 1.5 issue is that we don't get nearly enough art from the talented Chris Samnee in this collection. Not a deal breaker, but it keeps this volume from perfection. (
