This is an interesting mystery that is based on a real life event of the author. It is mostly told from Katy McKenna's point of view, but there are some flashbacks to 1996 told in other characters's points of view to tell the story of what happened back then. Katy learns that a man who raped a teenage girl is up for parole. She feels strongly that he needs to stay in prison. Katy later discovers that the victim has no living family to speak for her. Katy plans to do so until the police chief nixes the idea as too dangerous. Instead, Katy circulates a petition asking that the perpetrator's parole be denied. In the process, Katy also learns what the perpetrator's family went through after he confessed to the crimes. (His cohorts both died before they could be tried.) The book and series titles refer to the fact that Katy starts a private blog at the insistence of her best friend as a way to process her anger over her ex-husband getting remarried to the woman he cheated with who is now pregnant (when he insisted to Katy that he didn't want children!). By the end of the book, Katy has agreed to let her friend and family read her blog. ( ) nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

The Fourth Book in the series will be out in the fall of 2018 A message to my cozy reader friends: Sometimes, the dialog must fit the character and the times. While I keep the profanities to a minimum, there will be a few sprinkled in--as befitting the scene. If you're a member of Kindle Unlimited and love mysteries, join Pam's Facebook Group Page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/kindleunlimitedmysteries Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
