Help needed: to tame an alpha male! Six weeks ago a car accident left Xander Sterne with a broken leg and, much to his annoyance, the need for live-in assistance. But to Xander's surprise, help arrives in the exquisitely tempting shape of Samantha Smith. A broken leg won't be an obstacle for this legendary lothario! With her boss launching a flirtatious--and persistent!--assault on Sam's every attempt to remain professional and unmoved by his skilled seduction, she starts to wonder just how long it will be before he convinces her to join him in redefining the meaning of "personal assistant..." I really enjoyed this book. It was book two in the "Twin Tycoons" series, the previous one--"The Redemption of Darius Sterne" was Darius's story. Darius was the dark, moody twin brother, Xander, the blond, easy-going playboy, who had some troubles of his own--he was worried that he may become like his abusive father. But after being around Sam and her daughter, he realized he had no reason to worry. I liked Sam. She was a single mother, recently divorced from her jerk ex-husband Malcolm, who never wanted Daisy. Sam really loved her daughter and would do anything to protect her. Daisy was such a cutie. I really found her adorable. I liked, at the beginning, when she knocked big Xander over when she rushed through the room. And, later on in the book, she told her loser father a thing or two! It was sweet seeing Daisy and Xander together. Sam and Xander made a good couple, they both had some pain/abuse in their past. I also liked the cute epilogue. This was another enjoyable read by Carole Mortimer. ( )
