Started off with a bad flavor but ended up pretty good. ( )

I thought it was mostly going to be about a school principle and librarian hooking up on the job, but it turned out to be a very fun and full story.

"I'm perfectly comfortable with you in me." His shock formed a counterpoint to her horror. "In my office! I'm perfectly comfortable working with you in my office."

Liese is new to the school. She instantly has the hots for Ryder, the principal. There is a rule in the employee manual that discourages romantic work relations. They end up having to collaborate on a project which leads to work meetings, many of which are after hours. During one get-together, Liese tries to show Ryder her progress from her personal computer. She accidentally opens her porn folder. Looking at porn on campus is definitely breaking the rules, but the nature of her porn is even more of a disciplinary issue. This leads to a meeting that brings hidden feelings to the surface.

His voice was luscious caramel, wrapped in dark chocolate and rolled in sugar. She had the unconscionable craving to lick him and find out if he tasted as good as he sounded.

The two begin a secret relationship. During their love affair, many issues arise. We are introduced to several other characters. Blake and Marissa are awesome personalities, the type of people you want to know in real life. Marissa can lighten any mood, and Blake's the brother you always wanted. The story progresses to full-blown love story with many obstacles including a crazy ex and gossipers. There's lots of humor and entertainment and even some bondage and spankings.

The Librarian Principle is an amusing look at role playing and hidden fantasies inside a regular adult contemporary romance. If you're looking for dark or BDSM, this isn't it, but if you want a book about everyday people with a kick, this is probably a story for you.

I have mixed feelings about this book.
I liked the characters Liese, Marissa, Ryder, and all the other side characters.
I just think there were quite a few loop holes in the story. I think I would have liked to see the Sean thing a little more; make him cause a little more trouble. Maybe a little angst would have made the book and the relationship not feel so forced. It was good; don't get me wrong it is just that I had a few issues with it.
