Don't really know what to really say about it, what to really write about it, or how to really describe this book to you that to me is not a book at all in any sense of the word, but more like a transcript of a truly deep and thoughtful intellectual spiritual conversation between an inspirational spiritual teacher Doctor Wayne Dyer who has written a whole lot of inspirational spiritual books, Esther Hicks, who has also written some of the inspirational books, and supposedly immensely wise collective consciousness that goes by the name Abraham. I have to say though that that the transcript of the entire conversation is so immensely inspirational and so immensely motivational that it has immense potential to completely change and completely transform your spiritual outlook on life, so, if you by any chance decide to go to the local or next town's bookstore and browse the spiritual or inspirational section for this transcript, keep in mind that you have been warned. For, if your heart's made of gold, there are moments in the entire transcript that will make you cry and wonder immensely about the spiritual aspects of life that you haven't actually encountered before. Don't get me wrong. I love Wayne Dyer. Saw him in a small venue and talked to him briefly several years ago. He was marvelous! So energetic and full of life at that time. In this instance, he is more self absorbed than I would expect from him and it lessens the impact of having these 2 powerhouses together on one stage. Esther, or rather, Abraham is much like he always is and repeats his message with a few new additions that helped clarify some things for me. The potential of having Esther Hicks and Wayne Dyer together was lessened by Wayne's inability to particate fully. ( )

This book just has to be assigned 5 stars, since its authors are both the late Wayne Dyer and Esther Hicks, or rather Abraham.

Already in Wayne´s introduction, we are given the valuable reminder that “You become what you think about all day long.” And also Abraham´s admonition “The Universe doesn´t hear what you say; the Universe hears how you feel.”

Wayne talks about himself, what he has experienced, and what he has worked with, including his books, and Abraham comments on these things.

One of the most interesting chapters for me is the first one, where Abraham explains who they are. (Abraham is a collective consciousness, thus the “they”.) Though I must say it is still difficult to comprehend this, even after their explanation. They seem to equate their identity with Source Energy, and say that we can all connect to this- it´s a matter of tuning to a high frequency and doing it often enough that there is consistency to what you are receiving.

When Wayne asks them if they are “equivalent to God”, they give an extremely vague answer, unfortunately. Or perhaps it´s not vague, it´s just hard for me to understand.

They seem to say that when we leave the Earth, we form part of a Collective Consciousness – “and that Source Energy is what Man wants to call God”. And we all have direct access to that. It sounds like they´re just saying, that we´re all God. And that we´re all Abraham. Or what?

When we´ve achieved a “high-flying” vibration, where we´re not “ornery” or upset, we allow inspiration to flow. Now we are extensions of Source Energy. The thoughts that we are thinking cause us to emanate a vibrational frequency that the Law of Attraction is constantly responding to. Only things of the same vibration can join us. If we are emanating an “ornery” vibration, we are surrounded by “ornery” people; they have rendezvoused with us because we are perfect vibrational partners.

There is a 17-second rule that if you focus as little as 17 seconds on a thought, more thoughts like those come into your mind, This applies of course no matter whether you focus on positive or negative thoughts.

Wayne talks about his father, who abandoned his (Wayne´s) mother and her three small boys. Abraham tells him that this was the way Wayne had planned it, since he was a freedom seeker to the core of his being and didn´t want anybody bossing him around.

Abraham says that once Wayne´s father had returned to the Non-Physical, he was in “that place of Pure, Positive Energy” and was always with Wayne, always loving him, always proud of him.

Source is flooding this Energy of Well-Being toward us at all times. There is only love on the other side – “only Pure, Positive Energy, love and clarity and passion and eagerness”.

If you want to have keen awareness of your Guidance, you´ve got to practice tuning in to the vibrational frequencies of your Source.

Wayne states that some of the most profound changes in his life came when he was at the lowest places. Abraham explains that it is because one doesn´t know what one wants until one knows what one doesn´t want. The contrast launches some very big rockets of desire and puts you in touch with your Emotional Guidance System.

If we were more unwilling to put up with negative emotion, our lives would go a whole lot better. We shouldn´t let so much bad-feeling momentum mount before we recognize that we could have it another way.

Watching the “violence and horrors of the world” causes you to practice the vibration of it, and thus you will rendezvous with more of it.

You have to care about how you feel. Then if you start down the wrong track, you will feel the emptiness.

Things are always working out for us, always.

Most beings are trying to please each other, and have given their Guidance System away long ago.

Abraham tells us: “We in the Non-Physical are multidimensional. We are Consciousness, and whenever you … focus, we are always there with you … but it is necessary that you tune yourself to the recognition of us.”

The frequency of Source Energy is always there and can be received by us, but for us to realize it, we´ve got to be “up to speed” with it.

Wayne recounts his blissful John of God experience, when he was healed of his leukemia. He looked at people through the eyes of Source, was in a state of bliss and all he wanted to do was give and give – to serve.

Wayne begins to rail against GMOs, and is reprimanded by Abraham for focusing so much on the problem instead of on the solution. We need to focus not on what we don´t want but on what we want.

I would not call this book indispensable, but it is enjoyable, very readable and full of wisdom. I highly recommend that you read it. ( )
