I enjoyed this. The storyline is intriguing and the art was great. I had a little trouble keeping the characters straight - I wished the "confidential files" had been at the beginning of the story rather than at the end. It helped a lot in terms of who was who and with backstory as well. I knew little about Chicago history, but this was a great blend of history, crime, thriller, and drama. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment. ( )

Beautiful art, nifty angle on superheroes (and boy am I tired of superheroes), and lots of juicy union politics. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this. ( )

I liked this one, especially the back-and-forth between the COWL union representatives and the Chicago reps. The story reminded me of a cross between The Watchmen (superheroes with major emotional and psychological problems) and The Incredible (superheroes no longer "needed" by the people they're protecting).

I'll definitely be looking for the next volume in this series. ( )

I like the concept of this book and the overarching elements of the story. However, the writing style isn't really my thing. ( )
